I’m Rose…

Hiya! I’m Rose and I am an authentic personal branding photographer. In other words I create professional imagery for your business that shows the person behind the brand, in a natural, authentic light. (I’m not a huge fan of fake smiles and awkward poses).

Ever since I can remember I have had a camera nearby and have loved capturing memories – creating little collages of my favourite people on my walls. After graduating with a degree in languages in 2004, I worked for 12 years in sales and marketing, gained my CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing and travelled all over the world for work – experiencing different cultures, meeting new people and documenting my travels with my camera.

I now have a beautiful young family (three children now all under 10), a very patient husband and two pesky cats who like to either sit on my computer or my all important note books just when I am trying to find them. I have an interest in health and wellbeing, although this Lockdown business has really seen my healthy eating fly out the window (!) (and my grey hairs multiply!!) and in my spare time (ha! what is that again..?) I love watching boxsets (or whatever the equivalent is called) on Netflix on an evening. In my past life I used to love going to music gigs (Eric Clapton, The Stones, Brian Adams, Bon Jovi…you name it) and I did have tickets for Michael Buble in July 2020 so here’s hoping the rescheduled gig goes ahead in 2021!! (I will cry if not!!!).

I honestly I love what I do – and the fact that I can fit my work around my young family. I have trained extensively with both Gillian Devine (Photography Success Mentor and Brand Photography Expert) and Alice Chapman (Top UK Documentary Family Photographer 2017, 2019 and 2020 according to the FPJA) and I am so grateful for the support from all my clients and thankful to receive so many wonderful reviews. I am also honoured to have myself been named as a Top 100 International Photographer by the FPJA in 2020 and won a number of international awards as well as being featured by Vogue Italia.
